Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking a Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter to support our OnDemand PropioONE service. The role involves providing consecutive, first-person interpretation for diverse clients, following Propio protocols and confidentiality policies.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years interpreting experience, ILR 3 proficiency, and complete Propio's Medical Terminology/Anatomy & Physiology assessments with a passing score, plus a background check and HIPAA compliance commitment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years interpreting experience.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• ILR level 3 technical proficiency on the ILR scale.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
