Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking a Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter to support our OnDemand PropioONE service. You will perform consecutive, first-person interpretation for diverse clients.

Applicants must submit a Resume in English and demonstrate ILR 3+ technical proficiency. You will complete Mockoral interpretation, Propio's online Medical Terminology assessment, pass a background check, and commit to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Resume in English
• English proficiency ILR level 3+ or higher
• Successful completion of Mockoral interpretation session
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment
• Background Check and Security Screen
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients (medical, legal, social services, etc).
