Job summary

Propio Language Services seeks Remote Spanish Contract Interpreters for its OnDemand PropioONE service. This role focuses on consecutive interpretation in a remote setting for diverse clients, with strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Applicants must have English proficiency at ILR 3+ level, complete a Mockoral session and Propio's Medical Terminology assessment, and pass a background check. 1+ years interpreting preferred.

Qualifications

• Resume in English submitted at time of application.
• ILR level 3+ technical proficiency in English.
• Successful completion of Mockoral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Background check and security screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
• Preferred: 1+ years of interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients, such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
