Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking a Remote Spanish Contract Interpreter for our PropioONE OnDemand service. This contractor role focuses on consecutive interpretation across medical, legal, and social services settings.

Applicants must submit an English resume, achieve ILR 3+ technical proficiency, complete Propio's Medical Terminology and Anatomy/Physiology assessments, pass a background check, and commit to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Resume in English required at time of application.
• ILR level 3+ technical proficiency in English required.
• Complete Propio's Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Background check and security screen required.
• Confidentiality, ethics and HIPAA compliance must be signed.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows policies related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
