Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking talented remote Spanish interpreters to join the OnDemand PropioONE service. You will provide consecutive, first-person interpretation for diverse clients, following Propio policies and ethics.

Applicants must show English proficiency (ILR 3+), complete medical terminology and anatomy assessments, pass background and security checks, and commit to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Preferred candidates have 1+ year interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated resume in English at time of application.
• English proficiency with ILR level 3+ (technical proficiency).
• Successful completion of mockoral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment.
• Background check and security screening.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and Propio L.S. client procedures.
• Follows Propio L.S. policies on confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
