Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking remote Spanish contract interpreters to support the OnDemand PropioONE service. You will provide consecutive interpretation and follow client protocols while maintaining confidentiality.

Candidates should have 1+ years interpreting experience, English proficiency at ILR level 3+, pass a mockoral interpretation, and complete Propio's Medical Terminology and Anatomy/Physiology assessment. A background check and HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• English Language Proficiency with ILR level 3+ (technical proficiency).
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session with passing score.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures for Propio L.S. clients.
• Adheres to Propio L.S. policies on information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
