Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking remote Spanish contract interpreters for the PropioONE OnDemand service. The role requires delivering consecutive interpretation and adhering to client protocols, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

Applicants should have at least 1+ year interpreting experience, English proficiency at ILR 3+ on the ILR scale, and completion of Propio's medical terminology and anatomy/physiology assessments. A full background check and ethics commitment are required.

Qualifications

• Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
• English Language Proficiency ILR 3+ (technical proficiency).
• Passing of Mockoral interpretation session using Propio standards.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for medical, legal, social services, etc.
