Job summary

Markel is hiring a Spanish bilingual Customer Service Representative I to join the Specialty Service team. You’ll be the first contact for customers, answering insurance questions and delivering a positive, professional experience in both English and Spanish.

The role supports long-term relationships and renewal business, with a remote work option if outside the Markel office and a hybrid schedule otherwise.

Qualifications

• Spanish bilingual with English proficiency to assist customers

• Strong phone communication and professional, calm conversations
• Comfort in fast-paced call center and navigating multiple systems
• Willingness to learn insurance products, procedures, and systems/applications
• Reliability and good attendance
• Prior customer service experience preferred in high-volume environment
