Job summary

Mercor is seeking native Spanish speakers for evaluating AI-narrated audiobooks in US/NA Spanish. This remote, part-time role (≈20 hours/week) invites careful listeners to flag narration issues and help improve training data. You’ll log errors, annotate spans, and report on overall listener experience.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (US / North American Spanish).
• Working English to report clearly and communicate with the team.
• Experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.
• A sharp, patient ear and the discipline to stay accurate over long listening sessions.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Spanish and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech: skipped words, mispronunciations, wrong numbers, and intonation issues.
• Categorize issues and mark exact spans using review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and where narration feels natural vs. breaks the experience.
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across many hours of audio.
