Obsidian is building a team of native Spanish speakers to evaluate AI-narrated audiobooks for US / North American Spanish. This remote, part-time role (~20 hours/week) focuses on listening critically, flagging narration issues, and logging precise error spans to improve AI models.

Ideal candidates are native or near-native Spanish speakers with some annotation or linguistics experience, strong attention to detail, and reliable part-time availability.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (US / North American Spanish).
• Working English to report clearly and communicate with the team.
• Some experience with annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, linguistics, or other detail-oriented review work.
• Sharp, patient ear and discipline to stay accurate over long listening sessions.
• Reliable availability about 20 hours per week (part-time).

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Spanish and assess naturalness, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Spot and log errors in the synthesized speech: skipped/added/mispronounced words; numbers; abbreviations; phrasing; artifacts.
• Categorize each issue and mark the exact span using review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and where narration feels natural vs. breaks.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across many hours of audio.
