Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers is seeking a Sourcing Supervisor for the Dept Behavioral Health/Develop. The role oversees procurement activities in line with state laws, guiding staff and ensuring SWaM participation while identifying economies of scale and enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing procurement activities in a public sector or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of procurement law including VA Public Procurement Act and contract management.
• Strong understanding of FOIA requirements.
• Experience developing internal procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience in best-practice contract management and administration.
• Experience collaborating with state procurement authorities and leadership to resolve issues.
• Proficient in statewide electronic procurement systems such as eVA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations in accordance with state laws, regulations and requirements.
• Provide technically sound consultation to Central Office and facilities leadership.
• Identify opportunities for economies of scale and enterprise-wide solutions.
• Apply best practices and technology to strengthen procurement operations and staff access to goods/services.
