Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Solutions Quality Engineer II to help ensure the quality, reliability, usability, and performance of our software products, platforms, and integrations. This remote opportunity supports testing across functional, regression, integration, data, and UAT, and contributes to release readiness and defect management.

You will develop test strategies, create test artifacts, execute manual tests, support automation, perform data validation with SQL, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance or healthcare IT delivery.
• Ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and UAT.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Ability to review requirements, identify risks, and communicate findings.
• Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specs, and acceptance criteria to develop test strategies.
• Create detailed test cases and testing documentation.
• Execute manual testing across applications and integrations.
• Support automated testing and identify opportunities for automation.
• Perform regression testing on new functionality or releases.
• Conduct data validation testing using SQL.
• Track defects with defect management tools and coordinate resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to validate fixes.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
• Monitor QA metrics and report release readiness.
• Coach junior QA staff and share testing best practices.
