Job summary

Percona is seeking a remote Product Marketing role focused on document databases (MongoDB), MySQL, and MariaDB. The person will craft technical messaging, align with Services and Consulting, and drive go-to-market efforts across the portfolio.

You will translate complex database technology into clear, buyer-focused messaging, engage with the open source community, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Services to ensure successful launches and ongoing competitive positioning.

• Ability to build trust across Product, Engineering, Sales and Services.
• Technical foundation in databases, infrastructure, and operations; quick to learn complex tech.

Responsibilities

• Own technical product messaging and positioning for document databases (MongoDB), MySQL, and MariaDB offerings.
• Develop use-case and value-based messaging for GTM and competitive positioning.
• Partner with Services and Consulting to align messaging with support, consulting, and managed services.
• Coordinate roadmap inputs with Product for your portfolio areas.
• Translate VOC from support, consulting, and sales into messaging updates.
• Lead launch plans for releases, features, and service offerings; contribute to multi-DB messaging.
• Create competitive landscapes and enablement materials for sales and CS.
