Percona is seeking a MongoDB Engineer to join our remote-first, globally distributed team. You will be the frontline for MongoDB expertise, helping customers tackle complex deployments and performance challenges.

You will guide best practices, contribute content for the knowledge base, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve open source database tooling. Travel for team meetups and events may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering MongoDB deployments and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Experience supporting customers with demanding production workloads.
• Good understanding of replication, sharding, and backup strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline professional MongoDB technical support to customers.
• Resolve complex production issues and guide customer success.
• Contribute to support content, blogs, and knowledge base.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to influence product strategy.
