Job summary

Semtech’s AirVantage Connectivity Services team seeks a Solutions Manager to lead pre‑sales engineering for AirVantage Connectivity and Cloud Management. You will guide architecture, qualification, and implementation for major customers, partners, and resellers.

The role requires a strong background in cellular IoT, a 4-year engineering degree, and 5+ years in sales engineering or solutions architect roles, with travel up to 30% within the Western US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year engineering and/or IT degree required.
• 5+ years of Sales Engineering / Solutions Architect experience in cellular, MVNO, wireless, cloud platforms, and IoT.
• Strong understanding of cellular networks (2G-5G, NTN, LPWA) and IP networking.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON over HTTP.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% within the Central, Mountain, and Western US.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales technical engagement to drive revenue against quota.
• Deliver technical training to partners on AirVantage connectivity and cloud management.
• Develop statements of work for technical deliverables on large projects.
• Coordinate with sales to align on technical account activities and onboarding.
