Job summary

Sierra Wireless is seeking a seasoned Solutions Manager for field technical pre-sales engineering focused on cloud and embedded software, connectivity, and hardware offerings. You will engage with customers, partners, and channels to design solutions leveraging our IoT cloud and AirVantage services.

You will train partners, develop proposals, and lead technical qualification while coordinating with sales teams to maximize win rates and revenue. Willingness to travel 20–30% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 4-year college degree in engineering/IT.
• 5+ years in data-specific product lines incl. embedded software/hardware and SaaS.
• 10 years in Sales Engineering / Solutions Architect roles in IoT/cloud/embedded domains.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales technical engagement to drive revenue and satisfy quotas.
• Provide IoT cloud and connectivity product training to partners.
• Develop Statements of Work and coordinate with sales on technical accounts.
• Lead technical qualification and ROI analysis for customer opportunities.
• Deliver SWIR technology demonstrations to customers and partners.
