Job summary

Skydio is seeking seasoned Public Safety sUAS Solutions Engineers to demonstrate end‑to‑end drone solutions for state and local agencies and to drive successful deployments across a territory. This remote role requires extensive travel to support engagements and field activities.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience with Public Safety sUAS, CAD and VMS familiarity, and a working knowledge of API integrations.

Qualifications

• Active FAA Part 107 Certificate.
• Experience with Public Safety sUAS operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with public safety software platforms (CAD, VMS) and API integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with public safety agencies to understand needs and develop drone solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and ensure smooth integration into agency operations and data systems (CAD, dispatch, video, evidence management).
• Own site assessment quality in your territory and verify dock locations before deployment.
• Run proofs of concept tied to active opportunities with measurable value.
• Support BVLOS approvals, waivers, COAs, and remote/docked operations.
• Gather feedback to inform product improvements and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
