Job summary

NMI is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team. This role bridges Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers successfully integrate and adopt NMI's payments platform remotely from the UK.

As the technical counterpart to the sales team, you will qualify needs, scope tailored solutions, and guide onboarding to deliver strong partner and merchant experiences. 3–5 years in FinTech/SaaS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Solutions/Sales Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of payment processing (card-present, tokenization, gateways).
• Proven ability to work across Sales, Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Channel Managers to assess requirements.
• Recommend tailored solutions and evaluate feasibility of customer requests.
• Document use cases, solution designs, and onboarding plans.
• Provide tailored platform demonstrations for ISVs, ISOs and partners.
• Support Sales by responding to RFPs and tracking product enhancements.
• Stay current on product updates and represent NMI at events.
