Job summary

ClickUp is hiring for a fully remote Senior Solutions Engineer in the United States. You will partner with Sales and Success to drive technical discovery, deliver tailored demos, and translate complex customer needs into practical product solutions across workflows, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will lead proof-of-value work, validate technical fit, and design lightweight architectures while addressing data flows, security, and migration considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role in software (pre-sales, solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting, implementation)
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery, live demos, and solution conversations with business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured recommendations and actionable next steps
• Comfort discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, and change-management with customers
• Strong presentation and executive communication skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences
• Consultative, outcomes-oriented judgment balancing depth with commercial urgency
• Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and priorities with ownership and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and deliver tailored demos showing how ClickUp maps to customer needs.
• Design and lead proof-of-value or proof-of-concept work for product fit and business impact.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into clear solution recommendations and architecture.
• Support technical validation in live opportunities, including integration discussions, data migration, security, and RFPs.
• Build reports, dashboards, and demo environments reflecting real customer use cases.
• Stay current on product capabilities and releases to explain solutions accurately.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to remove blockers.
