Job summary

ClickUp is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead product engineering, owning delivery, architecture, and team growth in a remote, US-based role. The manager will code when needed, review PRs, and guide the team through planning, design, and deployment of SaaS features.

You will work closely with product and design, drive AI-enabled processes, and ensure reliability, performance, and security across the platform. This is a full-time remote position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of professional software engineering experience building production software.
• Hands-on leadership with ownership of delivery from planning to release.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to define priorities and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a product engineering team including hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and career growth.
• Own delivery from planning through release with clear milestones and risk management.
• Set priorities with product and design to align engineering work with customer needs and business outcomes.
• Code and review active development, debugging production issues, and prototypes when needed.
• Drive architecture decisions with senior engineers and ensure high quality, maintainable code.
• Run an AI-native team using AI tools and agentic workflows with appropriate human review.
