Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is expanding its pre-sales organization and seeks a Solutions Architect to blend technical depth with customer leadership. This remote US role involves ~20–30% travel for on-site client visits and guiding data initiatives across Snowflake, AWS, Azure, and Databricks.

You will lead the technical sales lifecycle, craft scalable data architectures, and collaborate with delivery teams to shape SOWs and proposals. Strong communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience as a Solutions Architect and Data Engineer.
• Experience expanding enterprise accounts and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
• Strong background in data migration within large-scale production environments.
• Previous technical pre-sales experience with a blend of technical depth, customer engagement, and sales-oriented thinking.
• Expertise with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks.
• Advanced SQL abilities and ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries.
• Exceptional communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales lifecycle from discovery through post-sale handoff and customer growth initiatives.
• Clearly articulate a portfolio of services across Managed Services, Data Engineering, and Machine Learning Engineering to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with customers while acting as a trusted advisor throughout their data journey.
• Support proofs-of-concept and short technical engagements to validate solution design and drive deal momentum.
• Partner with account executives and delivery leaders to craft Statements of Work (SOWs) and shape proposals.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand presence.
• Translate high-level business objectives into actionable, scalable data engineering strategies and architectures.
• Manage customer expectations and provide post-sales support or escalations as needed.
• Scope complex data initiatives and define the right technical approach for enterprise-scale platform implementations.
