Job summary

the company is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to guide customers in designing and building scalable data platform solutions, working with sales to win deals and ensure customer success. Remote role based in Germany with potential travel up to 25%.

Ideal candidates have extensive customer-facing pre-sales experience with enterprise software, strong cloud and on-prem design skills, and excellent communication abilities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of related experience in a customer facing role, with 5–7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional capacity.
• Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
• Demonstrated ability to review complex architecture of existing applications, providing guidance on how to improve by leveraging technology
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and business concepts to leadership
• Travel up to 25% willingness and ability
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Design and Architect: Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging the company
• Customer Advising and Value Articulation: Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimisation strategies for the company, while communicating its business value to stakeholders
• Sales Partnership: Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success through account planning, qualification and pipeline generation strategy
• Demand Generation: Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events
• Customer Success: Foster strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Innovation and Improvement: Seek opportunities to innovate and improve the company solutions and processes
• Personal Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training to stay abreast of product suite and trends
