Job summary

DBSync Inc. in Bangalore offers a remote role for a Sales Engineer to support mid to enterprise clients, translating business and product needs into technical specs and driving new features from concept to delivery.

You will work with customers, sales and engineering teams, utilize SQL, data warehousing and ERP integrations, and help shape solutions while growing with a global, startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field.
• 5 years experience in IT software.
• Experience in sales and the technology field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and technical sales skills.
• Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
• Knowledge of databases, CRM, and programming languages.
• Knowledge of APIs and Postman for testing and integration.

Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge of SQL, Data warehousing and ERP integrations
• Preparing and developing technical presentations/ demos, setup trials or POCs to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
• Collaborating with customer and sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Researching, developing and modifying products to meet customers’ technical requirements and needs.
• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
• Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
• Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company’s products and services.
