Job summary

Archive is assembling a remote team to build a bilingual digital platform for a nonprofit. The contract role will own the technical design and engineering direction, coordinating front-end, CMS, accounts, and integrations with AWS.

English fluency is required, French is a plus, and candidates in the US or Canada are preferred to align with EST business hours. We value hands-on leadership, documentation, and the ability to transfer knowledge as the project scales.

Qualifications

• Architecture experience with headless CMS and API-first integration.
• Identity, authorization, data modelling, and secure data exchange.
• AWS architecture, scalability, performance, recovery and cost assessment.
• Hands-on technical leadership, code review, architecture documentation and knowledge transfer.
• 5–10 years experience, within a month; Canada or USA location; EST business hours.
• Fluent in English; French is a huge asset.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and engineering direction for the project.
• Validate assumptions and connect front end, CMS, accounts, integrations and AWS.
• Enable future AI capabilities and long-term support by the client.
