Job summary

Random Bit in the United States seeks a Senior AWS Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions on AWS, guiding development teams, establishing patterns, and ensuring high-quality prototypes.

The role requires strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudFormation), OO design, Python/JavaScript, and CI/CD. Remote work with 8am-5pm EST hours; collaboration across cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree and PHI/PII awareness preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in large-system application development and design.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing cloud components.
• Not intended for cloud infrastructure or DevOps architects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer 100% AWS cloud-native application components.
• Develop solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of components.
• Write high-quality Python and JavaScript code without guidance within prototypes.
• Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to development teams.
• Provide AWS cloud-native subject-matter expertise to developers.
• Conduct code reviews and feedback on implementation patterns.
• Capture patterns into development standards and architecture best practices.
