Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a part-time contractor to create, review, and explain SolidWorks models for mechanical parts and assemblies. The role pays $65 to $123 per hour and is open to candidates in multiple countries, with remote work options.

You will build accurate 3D CAD models, review design decisions, and clearly explain your workflow and prompts. Proficiency in SolidWorks and English at B2 level or higher is required.

Qualifications

• Create and edit 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Use parametric modeling, sketches, constraints, and feature trees to build and modify designs.
• Develop mechanical designs from technical requirements.
• Review models for dimensions, tolerances, manufacturability, and production accuracy.
• Complete advanced SolidWorks tasks and explain each workflow step by step.
• Write clear instructions and detailed prompts for mechanical design tasks.
