Job summary

OpenTrain AI seeks a hands-on SolveSpace CAD specialist to create and revise 2D and 3D models, add constraints, and explain design choices. You will document workflows and assess technical tasks for accuracy, communicating clearly in English.

This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role with flexible hours, fitting around your own schedule. Requirements include access to SolveSpace, strong CAD skills, and the ability to record and share your screen while detailing engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SolveSpace experience in professional engineering design or CAD work.
• Access to SolveSpace on your own computer, and comfortable recording and sharing your screen.
• Strong understanding of CAD modeling with parameters, including 2D sketches and 3D design.
• Professional fluency in English and clear communication of technical workflows.
• No AI experience needed.

The work includes producing and revising 2D and 3D designs in SolveSpace, along with constructing parametric sketches that use dimensions and geometric constraints. You will show practical workflows, explain why you made particular design choices, and review technical tasks for accuracy. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.
