OpenTrain AI, Inc. is seeking a part-time contractor to create, review, and explain SolidWorks models for mechanical parts and assemblies. The role pays $65 to $123 per hour and is open to candidates in multiple countries, with remote work options.

You will build accurate 3D CAD models, review design decisions, and clearly explain your workflow and prompts. Proficiency in SolidWorks and English at B2 level or higher is required.

What it pays and takes

You must be able to access SolidWorks and record your screen while completing tasks.

• Pay: $65 to $123 per hour.
• Work type: Part-time contractor.
• Language: English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Required skills: SolidWorks, 3D parametric CAD modeling, mechanical assemblies, mechanical design, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and clear technical communication.
• Helpful experience: FreeCAD, Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, human data work such as annotation or RLHF, AI model evaluation, CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or reverse engineering.
