Job summary

OpenTrain AI, Inc. seeks a contractor to create and edit CATIA models, assemblies, and surfaces while explaining design workflows for AI training. This is a remote, part-time contractor role paying $63 to $122 per hour, open to candidates in the United States and many other countries.

You will complete practical CATIA design tasks, document decisions clearly, and ensure accurate, high-quality CAD outputs for AI training purposes.

Qualifications

• Professional hands-on CATIA experience and experience on professional CAD or engineering projects.
• Knowledge: Mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, and assemblies.
• Background: Mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, or related field.
• Clear technical explanations, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit 3D CAD models and mechanical parts in CATIA.
• Work on part design, assembly modeling, surface modeling, and engineering drawings.
• Demonstrate practical CAD design and engineering workflows.
• Explain and document each design step clearly.
• Review technical tasks and provide feedback that supports AI model improvement.
• Maintain accuracy and quality across completed tasks.
