Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for solar PV projects within SDI Services, an SOLV Energy affiliate. You will oversee planning, procurement, budgets, and change orders for drilling, racking, module installation, quality control, and safety compliance.

You’ll apply advanced project management practices across multiple projects, travel as needed, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction (or related field) from an accredited university, or
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics consistent with the required qualifications as determined in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of projects.
• Obtains, analyzes, and circulates technical and contractual information to other members of the project team.
• Prepares reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
• Prepares notices and change order documentation for the client and project management.
• Determines and manages schedules and budgets for assigned project proposal and close outs, monitors progress and manages material logistics.
• Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate coordination between the office and field.
• Supports the relationship with the customer at a professional and technical level.
• Set goals for field management, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage performance, productivity and work quality of all field management, subcontractors and vendors to complete projects on time.
• Order and coordinate the delivery of material and equipment to optimize job efficiency.
• Implements and enforces all company and contractual policies, safety standards and installation best practices.
• Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings.
