Job summary

Silicon Ranch Corporation is seeking an Operations Engineer orSr. Operations Engineer (remote) to support the operating fleet, improve reliability, and optimize performance.

You will work across PV arrays, substations, and interconnection points, coordinating with OEMs, EPCs, and field teams to drive timely resolution of issues. The role requires strong electrical knowledge, experience with utility-scale solar systems, and the ability to translate field data into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 0–5 years of Operations Engineer experience; 6+ years for Senior role.
• Experience with utility-scale solar plant equipment (PV arrays, DC, inverters, MV).
• Experience with OEMs, EPCs, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support across the operating fleet and coordinate corrective actions.
• Drive resolution of key technical issues across the fleet, including defects, failures, and underperformance.
• Translate field observations and data into clear problem statements and actionable solutions.
• Support O&M teams with structured troubleshooting and escalation.
• Own technical issues related to PV array, DC, and balance of plant components.
