Silicon Ranch Corporation is seeking an Operations Engineer/Sr. Operations Engineer (remote) to provide engineering support across the operating fleet, focusing on resolving key technical issues, improving plant reliability, and optimizing performance from the PV array to the interconnection point.

This role acts as a plant generalist, collaborating with Asset Management, O&M, and vendors to translate field observations into actionable solutions and to lead reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 0–5 years for Operations Engineer; 6+ years for Senior Operations Engineer.
• Experience with utility‑scale solar operations and field troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting support across the operating fleet and coordinate corrective actions.
• Drive resolution of key technical issues across the fleet, including failures and underperformance.
• Translate field observations into clear problem statements and actionable solutions.
• Support O&M teams with structured troubleshooting and escalation.
• Own PV array and DC/AC balance issues, including modules, trackers, and grounding systems.
• Collaborate with OEMs, EPCs, contractors, and service providers to resolve issues.
• Lead reliability initiatives, PM optimization, and root cause analyses.
• Review engineering PM activities to identify deficiencies.
• Support turnover of new projects from construction to operations.
