Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a Project Scheduler to oversee scheduling for utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects. This remote role is based in Ankeny, IA, with standard hours and occasional travel up to 10%.

You will implement scheduling processes, manage WBS, CPM, and integration with Primavera P6, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and reporting to the Senior Manager of Construction Scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field; minimum two years scheduling experience, or equivalent.
• Four to five years of scheduling experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred.
• Must be proficient in P6 and CPM.
• Solar and renewable energy industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems and CPM principles.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scheduling processes, policies, and tools.
• Manage Solar and BESS EPC projects to construction scheduling standards for self-perform projects.
• Oversee integration of earned value management with scheduling processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Primavera P6 into reporting.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of project team deliverables.
• Analyze schedules to identify delays and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure communication with project and executive management for timely decision-making.
• Maintain tracking standards for contractual and construction milestones.
