Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp. seeks an experienced Project Scheduler to oversee planning and scheduling for utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects. This remote role reports to the Senior Manager Construction Scheduling, with travel up to 10% as needed.

The position requires a strong background in CPM scheduling, Primavera P6, and cross-functional collaboration, with expected travel and in-depth schedule analysis to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Four to five years of construction scheduling experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience as a Project Engineer is preferred.
• Must be proficient in P6 and knowledgeable with Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Construction operations experience strongly preferred; solar/renewable energy industry experience is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of diversified schedule engineering systems, principles, and practices.
• Proven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scheduling processes, policies, and tools for project execution.
• Manage Solar and BESS EPC projects to scheduling standards for self-perform projects.
• Oversee integration of earned value management with scheduling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Primavera P6 into reporting.
• Conduct weekly/monthly reviews of project deliverables and provide feedback.
• Analyze schedules to identify delays or constraints and develop mitigations.
• Recommend adjustments to schedules to meet goals and timelines.
• Ensure effective communication with project and executive leadership.
• Develop tracking standards for contractual and construction milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Controls to meet reporting needs.
• Contribute to preconstruction and subcontractor plan reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
