Job summary

LPL Solar LLC is seeking a Project Manager – Engineering to lead the end-to-end engineering execution for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role acts as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams, ensuring deliverables meet schedule and quality requirements.

You will coordinate civil, structural, electrical, and energy storage disciplines, manage RFIs and design reviews, and support business development with technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
• Proficient in Blue Beam and PDF creation/editing tools.
• Experience with Procore.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from proposal to completion.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering teams for drawing plans.
• Serve as main liaison between clients, owners, and engineering partners.
• Prepare proposals, scope definitions, and manage backlog visibility.
• Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, and client requirements.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, design comments, and information needs.
• Review drawings, calculations, and design documents for quality.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews across civil, structural, electrical, energy storage.
• Facilitate meetings and design reviews with clients.
• Communicate status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.
• Support business development with technical proposals and presentations.
• Develop strong customer relationships through responsive service.
• Identify challenges and develop solutions to maintain schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering quality.
