Job summary

LPL Solar is seeking a Project Manager – Engineering to lead the engineering execution of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from proposal through final drawing package delivery.

The role serves as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are accurate, on schedule, and meet project requirements. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from proposal through completion.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering teams to deliver drawing plan sets and design packages.
• Serve as primary contact between LPL Solar, clients, owners, and third-party partners.
• Prepare engineering proposals, develop project scopes, and monitor backlog and resources.
• Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, and client requirements to ensure success.
• Document RFIs, submittals, design comments, and information needs.
• Review drawings, calculations, and design documents for quality and constructability.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary reviews with civil, structural, electrical, and energy storage teams.
• Lead project meetings and client presentations; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Assist with technical proposals, scope development, and customer presentations.
