Job summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking a Software Test Lead to guide QA for a remote federal program. You will define test strategies, supervise test execution, and collaborate with product owners, developers, and UX teams to deliver secure, reliable software.

You will establish automated frameworks with Cypress, perform performance testing, and ensure accessibility compliance across desktop and mobile platforms. Strong leadership and federal project experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of software testing and QA experience.
• 3+ years leading QA teams or as a Test Lead on enterprise software.
• Strong automation framework experience with Cypress.
• Experience performing performance/load testing (JMeter/Locust).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman/Swagger).
• Experience validating responsive web apps across browsers/devices.
• Experience Agile/Scrum environments and SDLC/STLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across the SDLC and report quality metrics.
• Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Establish automated testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Developers to resolve defects.
• Ensure accessibility and security testing requirements are met.
