Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and improve automated testing across cloud-based applications in a federal program. You will collaborate with software engineers, DevSecOps, and program leadership to ensure quality, security, accessibility, and reliability across releases.

The role involves test planning, audit-ready documentation, Section 508 accessibility testing, and contributing to the QA strategy within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software quality assurance with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing.
• Experience in federal compliance environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST).
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, API, performance, security, and accessibility testing.
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks and testing standards.
• Translate requirements into traceable test cases and automated scenarios.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish automated quality gates.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and engineering teams to troubleshoot builds and deployments.
• Support test planning, documentation, and audit-ready testing records.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and mentor team members.
