Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Technical Leader (remote) to support SSR governance and the SSR transformation initiative within the Security & Trust Organization.

You will manage intake of improvement requests, coordinate releases, and drive SDLC governance initiatives. You will transform software security requirements from static policies into structured, machine-readable requirements, collaborating with SMEs, developers, and product operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher with 8+ years related experience in Secure SDLC.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Experience in transforming policy into machine-readable requirements.
• Strong DevSecOps & build environment security background.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Govern SSR governance and transformation initiatives.
• Manage intake and release planning for improvement requests.
• Design and maintain agentic workflows supporting governance and reporting.
• Collaborate with SMEs, developers, and product operations.
• Support threat modeling and build environment security initiatives.
