Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Technical Recruiter for Software Engineering to drive full-cycle recruiting for open software engineering roles on our R&D team. You will manage an active load of requisitions, guide candidates through the hiring process with clarity, speed, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (agency or in-house), with software engineering recruiting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with candidates and internal team members.
• Demonstrated growth mindset with a desire to seek out and act on constructive feedback.
• Proficiency with sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and modern applicant tracking systems.
• Passion for building a long-term career in technical recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting: Manage the hiring process for software engineering roles from intake through offer
• Execute with efficiency: Keep candidates moving through the process with clear communication, operational discipline, and consistent follow-through
• Source proactively: Build diverse candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and targeted sourcing strategies
• Partner with hiring managers: Run structured intake calls, align on candidate profiles, and maintain transparent communication throughout each search
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience: Represent Samsara with timely updates, clear next steps, and respectful communication at every stage
• Use data to improve: Track pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and refine your sourcing and screening approach
• Apply feedback quickly: Work closely with senior recruiters and managers to continually develop your recruiting skillset
• Leverage AI thoughtfully: Use AI-based tools and recruiting technology to streamline repetitive tasks while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience
