Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union seeks a Software Engineering Lead to own the design, development, and lifecycle of its software solutions, including websites and core banking systems, in partnership with Reseda Group. The role collaborates with product teams to define requirements, estimate timelines, design interfaces, and deliver robust, well-documented code with automated tests.

The candidate will demonstrate leadership and hands-on coding in C#, Python, and JavaScript, with cloud experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related field or 3 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Knowledge of at least one programming language: C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript; OO design preferred
• Strong understanding of web technologies, databases, SQL, and security practices
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS and Azure) and SDLC processes
• Ability to design, develop, and document complex software systems with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of software solutions across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with product and project management to ensure high-quality, timely delivery
• Write robust, testable code and automated tests for reliability
• Mentor engineers, enforce coding standards, and contribute to architecture decisions
• Document system designs and communicate with stakeholders
