Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to own the development lifecycle of its software portfolio, including banking websites, mobile apps, and core systems. You will collaborate with product partners, design scalable solutions, and drive high-quality code with automated tests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of at least one programming language: C# (ASP.NET Core), Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with web technologies, HTML5/CSS, web services, and REST.
• Experience with databases and SQL queries; understanding of security concerns (OWASP).
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure and experience in SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise software solutions across a cross-functional team.
• Collaborate with product and project management to ensure timely, quality deliveries.
• Mentor and coach engineers; hire and grow high-performing teams.
• Define system designs, write robust code, and develop automated tests for reliability.
• Create technical documentation and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
