Michigan State University Federal Credit Union is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to own the design, development, and lifecycle of a portfolio of software solutions, including digital banking and core systems. You will work with the product team and stakeholders to define requirements, estimate timelines, design interfaces, and deliver robust, testable code with automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software Engineering team, coaching and mentoring engineers
• Develop and evangelize development standards and security requirements for enterprise software
• Partner with product and project management to ensure feedback loops and high-quality solutions
• Analyze business problems and design/implement enterprise solutions to reduce costs or improve workflows
• Independently lead design and development of programming projects and communicate with stakeholders
• Participate in all SDLC phases including analysis, design, testing, deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team using agile or other methodologies
• Troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions
• Assist with fixing software or infrastructure issues impacting digital solutions
