Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer (L2) for Voice Trust to ensure reliable voice communications for customers. You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle and own teams' services in a distributed production environment, using Agile methods to deliver value.

The role emphasizes real-time systems design, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication while working in a remote-first environment with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time services with high throughput and low latency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and collaborate with leads and cross-functional teams.
