Job summary

Asteris, part of Valsoft Corporation, is seeking a Software Developer to evolve Keystone, our PACS platform for veterinary imaging. You will design features to store, transfer, render, and share diagnostic images, ensuring reliability and performance.

You should have 3+ years of software development, experience with DICOM, and proficiency in C#/.NET or C++, plus SQL and networking. This fully remote role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features across the Keystone PACS platform
• Work with DICOM data and imaging workflows, including storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting
• Build and support integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems
• Design services with a strong focus on high availability, scalability, performance, and observability
• Take end-to-end ownership of the quality, testing, and production readiness of what you build
• Write clean, well-documented code and take part in code and design reviews
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies
• Collaborate with Product and Support to translate client needs into solutions
