Job summary

Experity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, modernize, and support the OnePACS medical imaging platform. The role centers on a C# desktop viewer, with contributions across Java services, PostgreSQL, React, REST APIs, and AWS infrastructure.

You will work closely with Staff Engineer, Product, QA, DevOps and others to improve the platform’s quality, reliability, and maintainability while following Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building Windows desktop applications.
• Proficient with Java services, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Web development with TypeScript, JavaScript, React.
• Experience AWS-hosted environments and cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and modernize desktop and web applications used in medical imaging workflows.
• Serve as a primary contributor to the C# desktop viewer while contributing across supporting Java services, PostgreSQL, React applications, REST APIs, and AWS infrastructure.
• Deliver complete solutions from technical design through implementation, automated testing, release, production validation, and ongoing support.
• Write clean, secure, efficient, testable, and maintainable code using sound engineering practices.
• Partner with the Staff Engineer on architecture, modernization, technical standards, and complex design decisions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across application code, APIs, logs, data, cloud services, configuration, and customer workflows.
