Job summary

Vitu is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our remote team. You will write and maintain code across platforms, participate in Agile planning, and help drive scalable, high-volume solutions for Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) needs.

You’ll collaborate with product management and engineers to design viable solutions, implement features, and reduce technical debt while aligning with our technology roadmap. A 2–5 year background and AWS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
• 2–5 years of working experience
• Experience with SQL Server building complex queries and update statements
• Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with cloud-based systems is a plus, AWS specifically
• Experience with AI-driven development is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supports Agile planning with Product Management and designs viable solutions
• Contributes to product and solution designs to address complex issues
• Builds software across platforms to meet stakeholder needs
• Writes software and automated tests aligned with standards
• Provides ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products
• Mentors less experienced engineers and shares best practices
• Stays up to date on new software technologies and industry trends
