Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and maintain software used by internal partners and external customers. You'll work in a remote-friendly environment, collaborating with analysts, product managers, and engineers to deliver quality software on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent experience, strong SDLC knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications or modifies existing logic.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Supports and maintains application components and ensures improvements are implemented.
