Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking a Software Engineer (Contractor) to join the Equity Portfolio Management team in a remote-friendly role. The position focuses on delivering new technology capabilities, building scalable services, and collaborating with business clients and IT partners.

You will design, implement, test, and document software using Python, Django, Angular, C#/.NET, and SQL, with an emphasis on maintainable code, automation, and security.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Software Developer.
• Proficiency with Python, Django, Angular, C#, PostgreSQL, Transact-SQL, and JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• Build or implement technologies to meet business needs using industry standard tools.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Assist in the development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on software status, operation and maintenance.
• Advise business clients and IT management on technology capabilities and strategies.
• Provide third-level support for local and remote investment business clients.
