Job summary

ProFocus Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain and enhance its in‑house applications using C#/.NET, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. You’ll ensure stability, performance, and reliable operation of containerized services on AWS EKS, while collaborating with infrastructure teams to drive modernization and automation.

The role emphasizes hands‑on coding and troubleshooting, with opportunities to apply AI‑assisted development and reduce technical debt as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional software development experience using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and backend application development.
• Hands‑on experience writing Dockerfiles, building container images, and developing containerized applications.
• Practical Kubernetes knowledge, preferably AWS EKS.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, IAM, and S3.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application maintenance skills.
• Ability to independently manage and improve existing codebases.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ownership, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and improve existing business applications.
• Work with C#/.NET, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to ensure stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve bugs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support containerized apps on AWS EKS.
